Grapeskin leather is a sustainable, plant-based material made from the byproduct waste of the wine industry in Northern Italy. Primarily grape skins, seeds, and stalks left over after grapes are pressed (marc). Rather than sending this waste to landfill, Vegea, our manufacturers, process and bind it with a base material to create a leather-like textile that mimics the look and feel of traditional animal leather.
